Great service, very kind staff! The rooms are always clean and tidy. Next to the beach and around the corner from the city, what more could you ask for?

It's not a new property, a bit tired in parts but in process of renovating. Staff were all very accommodating, the pools are lovely as are the gardens. Our rooms, very new updated loved them, a little lacking in cleanliness but we did it ourselves so that was OK. It was a great stay, only problem was the sandflys, terrible bites all over us every day. If the property owner could remedy this I would highly recommend, very good value for money. Thank you once again to the management and the staff 🙏

We checked in around 7pm and while all instructions for late checkin were clear, it was a rushed welcome experience.

Good location, and the room was very well cleaned! Very modern appliances with an actual coffee pod machine! The service was a bit weird though, didn't get asked for ID at check in. Sadly I did buy a room with breakfast included but the restaurant is still closed....

Seahaven Resort in Townsville is an absolute gem! We live on magnetic island and when we can't make the ferry we always stay here. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking ocean views. The rooms are modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The resort’s location is ideal, offering easy access to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. The pool area is pristine, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful yet vibrant. Upon arrival at seahaven we were greeted by the amazing reception people Nathan and Michael, our child has a physical disability and was treated like family , the rooms were amazing and the beds so comfortable, we swam in the pool all day it was like being in heaven , I highly recommend seahaven.

Was served by the lovely Irish Ciara, she was so lovely and helpful, couldn’t have been more attentive and polite. Impeccable service and had a lovely conversation with her, thank you Ciara for making our stay in sea haven memorable!!

A very short sleep over but the room was nice and included breakfast. Staff were friendly and breakfast was everything I needed . Cheers

Recently refurbished rooms. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff in the bar and restaurant. Dinner was good. Awesome pool. I suggest you get to breakfast early if you want everything to be available

Gutes Hotel das ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Für die Durchreise war es Ideal vom Standort. Klimaanlage im Zimmer 120 eher laut. Gefrierfach hat vom vorherigen Zimmer Benutzer nach Fisch gerochen. Dies haben wir Rezeption leider erst am nächsten Tag bei der Abreise gemeldet.

For the price, room quality, and breakfast, this deserves 5 stars. Critics will attack reception hours (unmanned in the arvo on NY day), but it seems like they are genuinely trying to run the place without blowing the budget.

Great location for strolls to the lookout or bike riding. Lots of electric scooters are available at the park.

Book for 2 people for a room with bunk beds and bring your kids, too. Sleeps 4 in the double room with bunk bed. Breakfast was included for 2, paid $14 for each extra child.

The girls at reception were absolutely amazing, it was a very safe place for me during this hard to with hubby in hospital, rooms are good and very clean. The only downfall, I asked for a refund as I wanted to go back and stay with hubby at the hospital and I was told no refund but would contact the boss to see what they could do and haven’t had any follow up.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing resort, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the level of professionalism and warmth from the staff, who made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch, and every interaction with the team was a pleasure. They were not only friendly but incredibly helpful with all of my needs throughout my stay—10/10 for staff!

The room was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean—this place truly knows how to maintain a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The bed was beyond comfortable, probably the best I've had in a long time. After long days of travel, it was a relief to sink into such a cozy and supportive mattress. I would give the comfort of the bed a solid 10/10 as well.

Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional—everything was fresh, and there were plenty of delicious options to choose from. It was the perfect way to start each day, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Another 10/10 in my book.

Overall, this resort provides the perfect balance of tranquility and relaxation while still maintaining the professionalism and warmth that make it such a special place. As someone who travels frequently, I can say without a doubt that I’ll be back here every time I'm in Townsville. Highly recommend!

Extra towels available, rooms are comfortable and close to Strand activities, wifi & TV works, USB charger builtins.
Always a pleasure to stay.
